Call to Worship :
Christ be with you.
And also with you.

We come to this place as a people in need.
We come with bodies that are broken and bruised.
We come to this place believing in your power to heal.
We come with hearts that ache and souls that cry.
We come to this place in search of healing and wholeness.
We come in search of you, O Christ!
Come let us worship our God

* Hymn: What a Friend We Have in Jesus (664)

Opening Prayer:
Almighty Creator and Holy Lord, you know better than anyone the mysteries of the universe and the ordinary cares of human existence. You sit in the heavens, majestic and magnificent yet you also walk beside us, as we journey through life’s troubles. How wonderful it is that we can take our every weakness and bring it to you in prayer. How amazing it is that we can call you friend. We confess that we have not always walked with others as you walk with us. Forgive us. Help us to be your hands and your feet as we do your work for the Kingdom. Help us to speak your love as we meet others on the journey. Amen

Words of Assurance:
Oh what needless pain we bear. Christ’s healing power was released on the world to heal the afflicted and bring wholeness to all who believed. And it is with us today, here in this place! Let us each be healed according to our needs.
Thanks be to God for the grace of healing.
